1. Information we handle
ForgePins may handle information you provide directly, such as product titles, descriptions, links, images, and other content you choose to use in the service.
When you connect Pinterest, ForgePins may receive information made available through Pinterest's authorization process, such as your Pinterest account identifier and the Pinterest permissions you grant. ForgePins uses this access to provide Pinterest-related features you request.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate, maintain, and improve ForgePins; create and manage Pinterest content at your direction; authenticate connected accounts; troubleshoot problems; and protect the security of the service.
3. Pinterest
When you connect Pinterest, authorization is handled through Pinterest's OAuth process. ForgePins does not ask you for or store your Pinterest password. Pinterest may separately collect and process information under its own privacy policy and terms.
ForgePins requests access only for features that require Pinterest access. You can revoke an application's access through the relevant account controls provided by Pinterest.
4. Information sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may use service providers that help us operate hosting, storage, authentication, or application infrastructure. Such providers receive only the information reasonably needed to provide those services and are expected to protect it appropriately.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or users, or to investigate security or abuse.
5. Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by ForgePins. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so we encourage users to protect their own accounts and credentials.
6. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or comply with legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we may delete or anonymize it.
7. Your choices
You may stop using ForgePins, disconnect Pinterest access through Pinterest's account controls, or request information about data associated with your use of the service.
8. Children's privacy
ForgeBoard is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
